The six weeks ended Friday, and grades are due tomorrow morning.  I’m still not even close to done grading…  but, as I was going through this one assignment, one of my students wrote this:

Feeling better about things today.  I feel I actually taught today.
I also scared my students.  One of my second period students emailed me during third period to tell me she was having trouble in my class.  This is Day Three of the school year.
